Dr. Gerhard Herzberg Memorial Scholarship in Physics

Value: Approximately $20,000
Eligibility: Dr. Herzberg, Nobel Laureate in Chemistry (1971), was a faculty member in the Department of Physics, 1935-1945. This scholarship arises from the Herzberg Fund, established with funds donated by Dr. Herzberg, the Herzberg family, Dr. G. Russel Walker, and by friends and colleagues of Dr. Herzberg.

Open to outstanding graduate students and applicants to graduate programs in the Department of Physics and Engineering Physics. All other merits being equal, preference will be given to candidates whose research involves spectroscopy.
