Canada Graduate Scholarships - Doctoral Program (CGS-D)

Value: $40,000 for 36 months (number of awards varies annually)
Eligibility: The objective of the Canada Graduate Scholarships — Doctoral (CGS D) program is to promote continued excellence in Canadian research by rewarding and retaining high-calibre doctoral students at Canadian institutions. By providing support for a high-quality research training experience to awardees, the CGS D program strives to foster impacts within and beyond the research environment.

The College of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies distributes the reminders that the call is opening in early fall annually. Students are encouraged to attend one of the many workshops offered leading up to the deadlines to ensure that their scholarship application is ready to submit.
