Barbara E.Carleton Graduate Scholarship

Eligibility:

This competition is open to graduate students pursuing research activities with a focus on field work in the area of botany, geology, birds, and/or water at USask. The research activity must have a field research component.

The applicant must also meet the Eligibility for CGPS-Adjudicated Scholarships, as defined in Section 10.2 of the CGPS Policy Manual.

Donor:

A gift from Barbara Carleton, B. Sc. 1979 to support the field research of a graduate student pursuing research activities in the area of botany, geology, birds, and/or water at the University of Saskatchewan.

Apply:

Apply online. The applicant must provide:

  • A 2-page maximum outline of their research
  • A 2-page maximum letter of support from their supervisor confirming that the applicant and their research meets the eligibility requirements
  • Unofficial USask transcripts

Renewal: This scholarship may be renewed for one additional year, so long as the student has undertaken field work during the first and will also be completing field work in the second year.
