The Robert Falside Stoddart Memorial Scholarship

Value: Approximately $6,000, subject to change annually depending on number and quality of applications.
Eligibility: Open to PhD students undertaking research in any discipline. Selection will be based upon academic achievement (determined by the student's GPA) and the merits of the student's research proposal, as determined by the Awards Committee. Qualifying GPA must be 80% or greater.

Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.
Donor: This award is donated by the generosity of the Stoddart family to recognize the hard work and dedication of graduate students at the University of Saskatchewan.

  • A letter describing your research (2 pages max., use non-technical language) and its expected benefits
  • Your unofficial USask transcripts (all levels)

A letter of support from your supervisor or someone knowledgeable of your research is required. Have this letter forwarded to gradstudies.awards@usask.ca.
