Gerry "Git" Rempel Memorial Graduate Scholarship

Value: Approx. $2,500 (The specific annual amount will be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the financial resources available.)
Eligibility: This scholarship is to recognize superior academic performance of a graduate student in his or her first or second year of study in a Master of Science degree program, who has demonstrated athletic and leadership abilities.

Open to students in the first or second year of study in a Master of Science degree program with an academic average of 85%. Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.

Preference will be given to students who:
  • are pursuing a Master of Science in Biology or Mathematics and Statistics
  • demonstrate athletic ability in Huskie level athletics.
Donor: This award is made possible by the generosity of the Rempel family to recognize graduate students who've demonstrated superior academic performance as well as athletic and leadership abilities.

  • a brief statement, no more than two pages in length, describing your athletic and leadership abilities
  • a letter of recommendation from an individual that can support your statement
  • Unofficial USask transcripts (all levels)
