Saskatchewan Pulse Crop Development Board Don Jaques Memorial Fellowship
Value: | $20,000 awarded annually. The fellowship may be renewed for a second and third year if progress in the program is satisfactory. A second fellowship will be awarded to another student only after the first fellowship has been terminated. |

Eligibility: | Open to full-time, post-graduate students in a M.Sc. or Ph.D. degree program at the University of Saskatchewan who are conducting thesis research on some aspect of pulse crops. At the time of application, candidates must be either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident. Preference will be given to Saskatchewan residents, if qualifications are similar. The award will be made on the basis of a proven record of outstanding academic achievement and research interest on some aspect of pulse crops.
Renewal of the fellowship will be based on an assessment by a faculty member familiar with the student's work (normally the supervisor). The recommendation of the supervisor will be made to the Dean of Agriculture and Bioresources. |
