Muriel J. Clancy Bursary

Value: Approximately $5,000 (The specific annual amount will be determined by the Selection Committee, based on the financial resources available.)

Eligibility: Open to graduate students who are planning to work with children who are disabled, either as a teacher, a physiotherapist, a speech therapist, a doctor or a nurse. Applicants must attach a letter to the application showing how they plan to accomplish this requirement. Applicants must also show how they meet the definition of financial need.

Selection will be based on academic achievement (minimum 75% GPA) and demonstrated financial need, as determined by the College of Graduate & Postdoctoral Studies. Students who have not yet started their graduate program at the time of application will not be considered.

This award is donated by the generosity of the late Muriel J. Clancy to provide recognition and support to post-graduate students with demonstrated financial need who are planning to work with children who are disabled.

  • List of revenues and expenses for the current academic year (September 1, 2024 - August 31, 2025)
  • Current up-to-date University of Saskatchewan transcripts (unofficial transcripts will be accepted)
  • A letter (one page maximum) from the applicant describing how they will work with disabled children.
