  • student travel to scientific meetings;
  • aid in preparation of materials for presentations at scientific meetings or for research;
  • purchase supplies or equipment for research.

    Donor: This award has been established from donations received from the friends and family of the late Dr. Ross Ashford who passed away in July 1992. Dr. Ashford, Professor Emeritus, was on the faculty of the Department of Crop Science and Plant Ecology from 1966 to 1987.
