Hantelman Humanities Scholarships

As a bequest from the late Dr. L. H. Hantelman of Tyner, Saskatchewan, the Hantelman Humanities Scholarships are available to graduate students in the Humanities, Social Sciences, and Fine Arts.

Value:
|
$1,000 each - approximately nine awarded each year
|
|
Eligibility:
|
The student must be a full-time registered graduate student in the Humanities and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Science with no other major source of funding. Major funding is considered to be no more than $15,000.
|

Application Procedure:
|
Nominations are invited from the Department Graduate Chair, on behalf of the department, in the form of a letter with appropriate attachments outlining the following:
Student's name, program, proposed thesis topic, name of supervisor;
Evidence of academic merit and commitment to research; and
Statement of the relevant criteria as to why the department feels this is a deserving student for the award.
