Robson Bursary for Graduate Students

Description: To recognize academic achievement and provide financial assistance to graduate students pursuing studies in an area related to land and resource management with an emphasis on sustainability and ecologically sound management practices.
Value: One annual $5,000 award.
Eligibility: Open to students entering and/or continuing studies in a graduate degree program in an area related to land and resource management, with an emphasis on sustainability and ecologically sound management practices. This will include, but not be limited to, student, in Agricultural and Bioresource Engineering, Biology, Plant Science, Environmental Engineering, Geography, and Soil Science.
Application Procedure: Students wishing to be considered for this award must submit all documentation listed below by the due date to Director of Graduate Awards and Scholarships, College of Graduate Studies and Research.
  • A letter from the student (1 - 2 pages in length) describing their program of study (in layman terms);
  • An up-to-date Curriculum Vitae;
  • A letter of support from the supervisor, which should include comments on the student's personal qualities, past achievements and future potential;
  • Transcripts for degrees awarded from another university besides the University of Saskatchewan.
