Roman and Sonia Stratychuk Graduate Scholarship

Description: This scholarship has been established through an initial endowment by Mr. and Mrs. Roman Stratychuk, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on the occasion of the Seventy-fifth Anniversary of the University of Saskatchewan in recognition of the role of the University in the educational and cultural life of this province.

Value: The number and value of awards to be determined by the Award Committee for the College of Graduate Studies and Research

Eligibility: Open to students who are entering or continuing a graduate degree program at the University of Saskatchewan and whose studies and/or research relate to Ukrainian studies. Students must be pursuing their studies and/or research through a department associated with either the College of Education or the College of Arts and Science. Selection will be made on the basis of academic achievement as determined by the Awards Committee.

Application Procedure: There is no formal application form. Students should apply in writing describing their program of study and how it relates to Ukranian studies. Minimum acceptable GPA is 80% on the last 60 credit units. Students should also include a curriculum vitae. A confidential letter of support from either the graduate chair or the chair of the advisory committee should accompany the application.
